Upgrade, or not?

    Would an Optoma H72i be considered an upgrade from a Sharp Z9000?
    I would prefer a longer throw but it is usable, and the lens offset would work; on paper it is way quieter, as well.
    Or would I be better off heading in another direction.

    Yeah it would be an upgrade, but if I had your projector I'd hang on as long as possible for 1080p models to become affordable.

    Thanks Jammyb, I was wondering about that. I think the most frustrating thing about the Sharp is only being able to sync at 60Hz.
