I'm currently in the process of upgrading my PC and was thinking of using my old CPU and mobo as the base for a dedicated HTPC with MP3, Proxy server and FTP server capabilities.

Now what I'll have spare is an Athlon 750, Asus K7V Mobo, at least 256mb RAM, 15Gb HDD.

The main thing I need to know is what graphic card I should get. I've currently got a Geforce 2 GTS 64 but this will be staying in the main machine.

The new card must be able to ouput to my TV and not be majorly expensive as I will probably upgrade the card within a year when I get a projector.

ps. I'm good with comps, just not up to date on graphics cards so don't be afraid to hit me with the techy stuff :)

Been doing a bit of research tonight and come across the Matrox G450.

This has a Dualhead feature that allows a Monitor and TV to be connected at the same time. This would be a good benefit for the HTPC.

Anybody know what these cards are like?
Remember, this is just used for DVD playback.
It doesn't need to be good for gaming or anything else.
