Upgrade Infocus 76 to Optoma hd33

Hi my Infocus 76 has just died and I'm thinking of replacing it with the hd33 what I'm hoping is that I can just mount it where the 76 was. The lens on the old 76 was 3.41m away from a 1.70m wide screen.
The fella in the shop reckons that it will work but I'm not so sure. there is a bit of play on the mount 3.4m to 3.6m away from screen but to move it any closer would be a real nightmare, I would be grateful for any advice thanks.

Well they're wrong to project to a 1.7m screen the HD33 needs to be between 2.55 and 3.06m away

I had an in76 and now a hd33 and it's a prefect fit didn't have to move a thing 0 keystone

Why not buy a bigger screen!-that's what I did. These projectors are very immersive on an 8 foot screen.

The hd83 produces a smaller image.

I can't really get a wider screen in the bay window with out bringing it forward, I've been looking at the Epson EH-TW6000 this appears to have the throw I need, I mainly use the PJ for Xbox has anyone got any thoughts on this projector
