Upgrade from Yamaha RX-V795 to Onkyo 606

Hi all,

I've been thinking about upgrading my old Yamaha RX-V795 and getting an Onkyo 606 but I have read a few things on here about the 606 being a bit short of power. Is this the case or do you think the Onkyo will knock my socks off in comparison to my old Yammy?
