    Hi

I recently puchased a CA 640R to go with my B&W 601 S3s. I am using a Sony HXD 710 DVD recorder as my main DVD and CD source. Would I see an improvement if I added a dedicated CD player, if so what models would be best for my setup. I am also using cheap unbranded speaker cable ( inside my walls ), which I suspect are limiting the system. Again what speaker cable upgrades would be suit my system.

    Thanks

CA 604R, B&W 601S3, Warfedale Diamond II ( rear ), Gale Centre, Sony HXD 710, Thorens 160TD, CA Phono stage

The CA 640C V2 will make a big difference in stereo SQ.

As far as speaker cables are concerned, there could be a lot of debate as to which are the best, but as long as you don't use thin guage cable you should be okay.
