Ok so I'm looking to upgrade my AV amp but toying with changing the speakers too??
Current using: Yamaha RX-V483 - Monitor Audio Vector Speakers - LG OLED55C9PLA - PS5.
Usage split - movies 70% music 20% gaming 10% but I do enjoy the music listening a lot more than movie crashes and bangs.
Not really got the room set up for anything more than 5.1 (unless I get those upward firing speakers I've seen?)
The amp seems to be the let down for me, the music side is just .. meh.
Got a budget of around £2-£2500 so the question is whether to blow it all on an amp or split the difference and get speakers and an amp?
Appreciate your thoughts!
