    Hi,

This is probably one many similar requests that get posted here.

Basically I want to up upgrade my now dated speaker system and would really appreciate some advice as to what packages I should review/demo.

Here are some details regarding my current set-up:

    Amp - Denon 3802.
Front Mains - Jamo 65 Cornets.
    Center - Jamo Center 100.
Rears - Can't recall what these are. They are Kenwoods that I got with my very first AV setup.
    Sub - Celestion CSW

The room is 18ft wide by about 12ft deep. I am looking at spending a maximum of £1200 which I was hoping would include a new Sub and floorstanding mains.

I have spoken briefly to a dealer I know, when I first started toying with the idea of upgrading. At that point in time I was looking at the Mission M5 series (M53, M5C, M5DS & M5AS). The dealer also suggested I consider the KEF Q and Wharfdale Pacific EVO ranges, though I don't know what ones in particular would fit my budget. Any views on these?

    Any help most appreciated.

    Regards,

    Jubbly.

Your dealer has recommended three good speaker ranges to you. Were I you I'd opt for the Mission M5 series if you can get hold of them (they've been discontinued).

The Kef Q series are also good, but the mission M5 series is a 'movies first' kit, and would suit your AVR3802 well.
