Sure the answer is simple and this will be straightforward, but forewarned is forearmed, as they say...
I have a new TV arriving next week, as my current one's well and truly on the way out after six-and-a-half years. I've had a Harmony 650 for more than four of those years without issue, barring a couple when I was understanding the set-up process. None of my equipment has been updated in that time, barring the laptop and Harmony software I used to set up the remote.
The Logitech site directs me to download software again for my Mac. Am I right in thinking that, after that, it will recognise my settings and will be just a case of removing the current TV and adding the new one to the relevant activities? Could it be that straightforward?
Alternatively, given I've got redundant activities now (don't have the facility to watch standard TV as opposed to Sky, and don't have a VHS machine any more, so there are two), would I be better off starting from scratch?
Many thanks in advance for any advice.
