Going to get a 15" pro Retina Display to replace my 13" MacBook. 2015 seems to be the last time for normal USB slots n stuff. So do I spend an age looking for a little used 2015 model or take the plunge and run with a new one? 2019 (rumours) promise a much improved MacBook Pro Retina Display; maybe out third quarter. The money cost is not the issue, it is ease of use.

My iPod I plug in and my Camera and memory sticks. I imagine I'd need adaptors if I go with a new model. Need a minimum terabyte for music and photos. I no longer use Photoshop but do use PS Elements. Price wise seems around £1200 for a 2015 model and 2.5K for one this year.

i'm still running a 2010 macbook with a 320gb HDD and a 500gb SSD and 8gb or RAM and it's still going good.

i'd look for a 2015 MBP and max out the RAM and add another SSD
