We have decided its time to change our current setup as its now very dated.
Set up is
Just come back from Richer sounds and nearly bought a BenQ w1070 which looked impressive but decided to just double check the screen size before parting with any reddies.
Our screen is custom made @1990mm wide 1110mm high
The projector is ceiling mounted about 3.78m from the screen.
Looking at this page Projection Calculator Classic - Throw Distance and Screen Size it suggests that the BenQ would not be suitable as the max disatnce for that screen width is 2.96m - am I reading that right?
So the question is, can someone recommend a projector with a long throw around £500
Is there a calculator that allows you to input screen size and distance and shows suitable projectors?

- Projector - A Hitachi PJTX-200 which we have been very pleased with but now want something full HD and 3D.
- AV receiver Yamaha DSP1092 - again great bit of kit but no hdmi and no DTS
- Speakers B&W 601's
