The pedestrian and cycle tunnel under the Tyne. Soon to be closed for refurbishment and removal of those 60 year old escalators.

Good picture but I am surprised they still have wooden escalators so long after King's Cross.

I think I would prefer it more without the legs in the photo, as I find the right leg slightly off putting.

The idea and the rest I do like!!

Lovely photo, just a shame about that dodgy looking leg on the far right of the photo

I like this a lot - it's got a rustic, yet industrial look to it and is clearly very much on theme. Think I would prefer it without the legs, but that is being picky - great shot!

I like the shot and the movement in it, it works for the theme imo. But I'm no friend of HDR and it just makes my skin creep, sorry :) It has to be very subtle and not really there, before I like HDR :)

    Nice entry!

If I'm being picky, I maybe would have cropped that leg so that it didn't look like it was snapped at the shin.

Good take on the theme though!

Love the creepy nature of the shot, looks like a serial killer making his escape on "Criminal minds"...

or do I just read too much into these photos!

Like this one, but wouldn't have believed wooden escalators were still in existence until I saw it.

Thanks all. To answer a few comments:
I have several shots without legs, but to me, they are fairly boring.
Its a 10.5 fisheye so a fair amount of distortion is to be expected - those feet were inches away!
It was very dark in the tunnel (shot at 2.8) and to get just a little amount of movement without the shot being very dark, or ramping up the iso, multiple exposures were the obvious choice.
