I've recently splashed out on a PW 7 (Fantastic from AV sales) and canton CD1 (Technik direct- a bit more expensive than tenspot) system which I'm well pleased with, but i have to say that music, especially classical sounds pretty poor through the system.(I'm using my KI signature CD player, outputing analogue which made a big difference instead of the DVD player)
I have been toying with using my hi fi floorstanders as fronts, and relegating the CD10's to the back sides to make 7.1, however the floorstanders aren't sheilded at all.

They seemed to have no effect on the panasonic TV that lived next to them for three years, so my question is do plasma screens suffer from the effects of unshielded speakers, and if so is it permanent.

How close do they have to be?, you can understand it's not the sort of thing I want to experiment with!

Thanks for all the good (and expensive) advice,
    Vilaubas

Plasma's are not affected by magnetic fields. At all.
