Unknow disc with LG RC7300

chances are that its lost its calibration to burnt discs,and will only play pressed ones.
nothing that you could fix, as a new laser would be needed.
if you have tried to clean it, and use a different brand of disc, and it still does it, then i guess its broken.

thanks for reply, at last resort tried sony infodisc and philliips are not working, a firmware reset or upgrade would help, or total lost?????.

dead i think, it needs repaired/replaced, and if not in warranty, then it might cost more than the unit is currently worth.
