Evil step mothers never looked like Charlize Theron back in my day!
Bringing a new twist on a familiar tale, Snow White & The Huntsman tells the story of a slightly different Snow White, more action heroine than damsel in distress. Directed by Rupert Sanders and featuring a spell-binding cast of Kristen Stewart (Twilight, Into The Wild), Charlize Theron (Prometheus, Hancock), and Chris Hemsworth (Avengers Assemble, Thor), Snow White & The Huntsman takes you on a journey where the fate of a generation rests upon the shoulders of a young princess.
Snow White (Kristen Stewart) is the princess of Tabor, daughter of King Magnus (Noah Huntley) and Queen Eleanor (Liberty Ross). After his wife's death, King Magnus marries the beautiful Ravenna (Charlize Theron) after rescuing her from the Dark Army. The king, blinded by her beauty is unaware that Ravenna is in fact a powerful sorceress and Ravenna kills King Magnus on their wedding night. Ravenna soon learns from her trusty Mirror, that Snow White is destined to destroy her once she comes of age, and enlists the help of the Huntsman (Chris Hemsworth), to kill her.
This breathtaking new vision of the legendary tale produced by Joe Roth (Alice in Wonderland), and Sam Mercer (The Sixth Sense) rounds off its stellar cast with fantastic stand-out performances from the dwarves played by Ian McShane (Deadwood, Sexy Beast), Ray Winstone (The Departed, Hugo), Nick Frost (Paul, Hott Fuzz), Eddie Marsan (Sherlock Holmes, V for Vendetta), and Toby Jones (The Hunger Games, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy).
Snow White & The Huntsman is released on the 1st of October and will be available as a DVD, a Blu-ray, a Blu-ray Steelbook or a Blu-ray Collector's Boxset.
