Universal Remote, there must be an answer

I've been programming, interface designing and setting up Philips remotes for over 20 years but the time has come to end my days with my Pronto TSU9600. The software is slow and my remote tired out so what alternative is out there. I've tried Logitech but find them so limiting compared to Philips, I would even consider a small tablet but finding one with built in IR sensor is hard and software seems limited. Any advice would be great

I've got a Logitech Harmony Elite controlling 6 devices and don't find it limiting, but I never had a Pronto.

They're stupidly expensive at their normal price but I would imagine it will be less than half price in the Prime Sale, Black Friday, Xmas, etc. It's a staple sale item and last time was going for ~£120

The Harmonys regularly come up in the s/hand classifieds on this forum - managed to get an almost new Harmony Touch for £40
