universal remote for car stereo

Hi there,

I have recently bought a car with a sony cdx-f7500 stereo. Sony (doh!!!!) have made it so that you can only access the menu item via the remote and I havent got the original remote. Do you think my one 4 all universal remote can grab the code via the search function ? Or is it that the bandwith for car stereos is totally different ?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

as its to do with car stereo..
