    Hi,

I just contacted Unicol about buying a mount, the GK2, for my AE700 and the sales person said they had never heard of that model.

Has anybody with any AE700 bought from them?

Would the AE700 use the same mount plate as another PJ?

    Cheers

    Amazing isn't it!

The plate for the AE100-700 is the same though.

So you could just buy the same on as the AE500, How much are they as I may have one for sale shortly!
I have a GK2 in white with a Panasonic plate.

Don't know how much they are as I didn't get that far.

So the plate for all the AE series is the same?

I am going to need one in a couple of weeks.

    Cheers

They are a lot of money - with the GK2 you get a couple of extension poles so that you can move the unit (PJ) up and down.

£167+VAT (+18% for white) is the price.

I was a bit miffed actually, I 'thought' I would need the drop but when I mounted just the ceiling bracket and the plate to the PJ and used a bit of keystone correction I had a picture I was very pleased with.
Therefore I found that I had the extension tubes but did not need them.

It is a good mount fully adjustable but at £200 it ought to be!

I am not sure at the mo what I'm gonna do with regards to a replacement PJ so I may or may not sell it but I will know in the next 7 days for sure!
