    Hi
I have a GK2 with the universal plate and am happy with it.
You could use a GK1 if you dont need any drop they are cheaper.

But it is sturdy and does the simple job very well.

thanks Tone... the reason i want to know is i would like to put the mount up first, i ordered the hs 50 and it will be a couple of weeks or so when i get it, i have a arch in the lounge and would like to get it as close as possible to that, and allow me to turn the projector when i dismount it without it touching the arch. ...thanks once again...........dis

    Hi Tone

Just noticed this and wanted to ask a quick question. From your screen shot i cannot see any screws in the left or right parts of the brackets just the middle ones, i presume thats were your joist is.

Do you have anything else securing it up? I was thinking of doing the same, but didnt want to wake up in the morning and find it on the floor  lol.

Any advice on how you hung it would be appreciated. Wanna get it sorted in my head before i start ripping the floorboards upstairs!

    THanks
