Does anyone have Underworld in superbit? I have the 2 Disc set which has the DTS soundtrack but I'm just wondering if it would be worth getting it for the better picture quality?

I believe there is a Jap version with both the extended cut of the film and a DTS soundtrack which is probably the best version :)

The R2 versions (both cuts) contain DTS tracks and fill up most of the disk's space (both cuts have all the extras on a separate disk), so they are more or less superbits anyway. The R1 version was released by Sony so they withheld a DTS track until the Superbit version (as usual), but the R2 was released by EIV.

So if you have the R2, I doubt there is any point in getting the superbit.

If you have the ability to play/display high definition, then you may want to check out the 720p WMV-HD disc. It is the extended print.

This may well be the best looking disc out there, although I haven't checked out the 1080i print that is also about.

Anyone compared the two? Barring in mind if I had the 1080i, I'd be downscaling it to 720p anyway for my projector's resolution. 1080i PJ's are still a bit pricey at £14,000

Did you buy the wmv-hd from that website? I could do with some of these movies as I have a Z3 setup now. Are there any other places selling them?
