For those of you who have received this copy of "Underworld Extended Uncut" does the extra footage make much difference to the film/story and is it very noticeable?

I have the cut version that was released a while back but dithering whether to get the "Uncut" So was wondering what your thoughts were.

it's more a case of extra story not extra violence or gore, there's a little extra blood but hardly anything noticeable, just a few extra bullet hits really. It makes some of the characters more full bodied, aswell as adding some pretty cheesy sex-type stuff.
To be honest, you wouldn't miss it if you didn't see it. It won't make the film any better or worse than whatever you already thought of it...

It's only "unrated" because Columbia didn't bother to run the longer version by the MPAA before releasing it, not because it's so violent the MPAA refused a rating (which I know some folks were hoping for).

The PQ is marginally better though (very marginally)

    Tardis,

Can't say fairer than that, bought this thinking it was going to make a difference but as Rambo John J says you arn't missing anything.
Didn't think the menus were as good as the R2 version and there is the lack of a dts track if that is a concern to you.

Nice package and a 'small' comic though.
