I have an e55 on order but would like to record on it and playback on my existing panny dvd player (ram compatible). I realise after much searching that the e55 is geared up for caddied ram disks, but will uncaddied disks be a problem or not?

Or what I am basically saying is, does any one here use uncaddied ram disks on this machine regularly without any problems? If so, which make and where are they available?

Thanks a lot for any replies.

Most users here use uncaddied media. Panasonic brand is probably one of the best as their uncaddied disks come with a protective coating. You can pick them up in Coment, Dixons, PC World etc. Or buy online and save a fair bit of cash: the Panasonic E-shop (find a link to it from www.panasonic.co.uk ) offers good value on these.
