Unboxing - LG OLED55C8PUA - Bubbles on TV screen

Got this TV delivered today.

While Unboxing, I've found that there are air bubbles on the screen towards bottom left side corner. I tried to wipe them off ( like Samsung note 8 mobile screen), but they din't go away.

Is this common problem with new TV's or should I need to return the TV?

Please advise. Thank You

Looks like a protective skin over the screen that is pulled off?? Or faulty screen ??

That looks very much like a protective film that you are meant to peel off - once it's installed, and tested of course. Just check a corner and see if this is what it is - but leave it in situ till you have done with unpacking and mounting.

It's the panel front protective film and should be removed before use. There is also one on the back (in three sections) which again should be removed. There are there to protect the TV from scratches during manufacture, transit and installation.

I've posted before (but can't find it now, it was on avsforum) of someone who removed the front film and then tried removing the thicker 'film' behind that but found it difficult to get off.
Turned out they were trying to remove the panel itself...
