Just noticed that Unbeatable.co.uk has a new front page.
And the shopping basket works.
It looks like a run of the mill price checker site; maybe they simply sold the domain?
It's (yet another) price comparison website, no longer a shop
Beaten to it, do none of us have lives?
Your right, it is now a price comparision site.
However it says
Unbeatable.co.uk will be updating content and layout over the next few days. Pop back soon
It also says in their About Us section
Looks to me like a Pricerunner/Kelkoo-wannabe has bought the domain off the administrators. Thank god it's not the 'old' Unbeatable coming back, they had such awful service that they desewrved to go bust (although obviously I do feel bad for the customers and employees that lost out).
I bought several items from Unbeatable and never had any problems.
I bought a Thomson 32" tv last year, It was faulty so they came and collected it and delivered a new one.
They had forgot to put the remote control in the box and they sent that the very next day after I phoned them.
However the 2nd Thomson tv I got also had some problems so I asked for a refund.
The next day the came and collected it and paided the price of the tv and the postage into my bank straight away.
wot happened to em? i was checking out the usual shooping sites other there and noticed it was price check site now.
btw anyone recomend some reliable websites for buying tvs from. please.
i know about tvandvideodirect.com and empiredirect.co.uk
I have recently posted on the Amp forum about the problems I'm having with my Denon 2105 which I purchased from "unbeatable.co.uk" back in Feb.
I take it from these threads that this RETAILER is bust!!
Where do I stand now with my Denon 2 yr warranty which still has 18 month to run.
I'm assuming that this is a manufacturers warranty in which case deal direct with Denon if anything happens in the mean time.
Yeah neilmcl, this is the manufacturers warranty.
I have contacted Denon UK via their contact form online but replies are few and far between.
Will be phoning their headquarters tomorrow if no reply.
Should think it would be possible to return to Denon through any of their registered dealers/ retailers as the manufacturer should cover costs for returns of faulty goods
Had a good look at my speaker connections and definately all well so looking more convincingly like an Amp problem.
Original post on "Not Again" thread on Integrated Amps and recievers. Sorry don't know how to link to threads just yet
I bought around 10 items from unbeatable over the last 4 years and never had a problem, customer service was fine too.
I bought around about £1500 from unbeatable and I agree they were fine.
However "Capital Sound and Vision" their parent company is now bust. So now I do have a problem with Unbeatable, as I can't return my faulty goods to them, to be repaired.
