I have just installed sky digital myself and get all the programs OK with the remote control but I am unable to set up the remote control to operate the TV.
I have a new Pace DS430N and my old Ferguson 28" TV with Thomson video recorder which I have connected as indicated in the Pace instructions (using scart leads etc).
Also have gone through Pace remote control set up procedure many times for the TV with no success.
Any suggestions as to what I may be doing wrong ?
please any advice would be very much appreciated !!!

I had a similar problem ages ago whilst setting up one of my TV remotes, it was a few years ago and from memory it took me a few goes to get it right, if I recall correctly when following the instructions it seemed as though I wasn't doing following one of the instructions correctly and eventually I got it right.

Not much help I know but you never know.

When I had been setting up the remote control I had the digibox on as well as the TV set, when I switched the digibox off then the set up worked OK.
Instructions did not indicate whether digibox should be on or off.
    Anyway problem solved.
    Very many thanks
