I've recently acquired an Amstrad Sky + box and have a situation where the I'm being told there is only 63% capacity after I've deleted all the recorded progs. I've tried the route of:- SERVICES -4-0-1 (found on this site) but find nothing happens after pressing the 0 button. Can anyone help please. Thanks

Sequence is Services 4-0-1 AND SELECT.....you will then find yourself in the 'hidden' menu :)

Yes, if you carry out 'housekeeping', the drive will be wiped, so make sure there is nothing that you want to keep/still to watch. :)
