    I don't think there's any plans to release music only discs.

    Just bought a Sony mini disc net player for just £40 from Amazon. Can get 5 cds on one disc, (compatible with MP3, ATRAC etc..). Good enough for my needs. Can transfer a cd in 2 mins apparantly. Have a lot of mini discs already so this seemed the best/cheapest solution. Don't need 15,000 songs at hand to be honest. Far, far cheaper than buying a 1GB or 2 GB mem stick at £100-200 cost. Plus you can hardly put the PSP in your pocket like a mini disc player, nor can you go jogging with it etc. Plus I'd be terrified of breaking it if I did.
