    Hi,

I use Ulead video studio 8 and I'd like to "capture" video not from a camcorder but from my hard disk - can this be done? I can't work out how.

    Thanks.

I don't know Video Studio, but with most editing packages you don't 'capture' video that is already on the HDD, but 'import' it. I suggest you look for a menu option to import video and see if that gets the video you want off your HDD and into the software.

    Mark.

In Ulead VideoStudio 8 click on "File >> Insert Media file to Timeline" then choose "Insert Video" - browse to your video files and click 'open' - file will be imported to your timeline.
