Yes i love the Panny Plasma but having problems with the cabling. :(

    I have.

    Panny Viera with 3 scarts.

    I want to plug in.

Pioneer DVD All in one system Via Scart.
    Panasonic DVD Recorder Via Scart.
    Telewest Cable Box Via Scart.

I have tried my utmost to decipher the instructions but i keep hitting a brick wall.

Everything worked fine with the cable and All in one, till i had the bright idea of sticking the Recorder in aswell.
Those of you with this set, this is what i am trying.

All in one DVD player in to AV 4 scart.
Cable box in to AV1 scart.
This worked fine till i tried to set up the Recorder. I thought it would have been a simple task of taking out the VHS recorder and sticking the same scarts in to the same sockets on the DVD player.

Do you get me so far.??????? No i thought not. :)

Do i need 2 scarts coming out of the Cable box. One to the TV and one to the Recorder. ??
Then do i need both coming out of Cable & Recorder in to the TV.??

If this happens the two RGB's will be used up, leaving just the bog standard for my all in one. Which i want RGB the most.

    Helpppp..

Any more infomation i will gladly help.

    Cheers Jed

The way i would do it is by connecting the cable box tv o/p to the Dvd recorder input, then the DVD recorder output to the Plasma.
Then connect the the all in one to the plasma as well.

this way you will be watching tv via the recorder which will allow to record what you are watching
