Having purchased season 1 of ufo it being a collectors edition, there should have been booklets and collectors cards in the 4 disc set but alas there was not. :censored: Upon visiting my local large new store was told that all ufo sets had been withdrawn from sale, but could not give me a reason.
But they still seem to be available on line very strange :nono:

I found it funny when I looked at the 2 series 1 looked to be in a slim fold out package yet series 2 came in 4 regular cases inside a larger cardboard sleeve. I only picked up the second series but that has a booklet with it.
I also noticed that The Avengers and Space 1999 were not in the last sales which they had before.

Hi garrett yes my boxes seem identical, season 2 has a booklet in each case, but series 1 does not have any booklets which i found strange, could it be this as to why the shop have withdrawn them, but not on the web??

Appears to have been repackaged in the last 6 months. On sale at HMV for GBP19.99 each season (set) (IIRC).

Dunno - maybe marketing - a special edition with postcards, then the bog standard for the non-diehard fans when the price is lower or offered in sales.

To be fair, the earlier postcard editions have been kicking about HMV sales for at least 13 months at 19.99 reduced from 39.99.
