As with all Ubiquiti firmware releases, I’ll be waiting for several weeks before taking the plunge with any updates on my system, and following closely the posts on their community forums to see what transpires before pushing the update button!
For my customers they stay as they are unless there is a decent reason for upgrading rather than pushing updates just because they are available. I’m happy that I’ve got stable installations that work well and don’t want to risk the headaches of unpicking updates that cause problems (with the time taken to do so being at my cost!).
I would like to see some proper bug fixes and significant long awaited feature requests dealt with, and then properly tested before getting released into the wild!! There are some problematic omissions in certain products just now that seem to be ignored by Ubiquiti, and can catch out unwary users.

Are you running beta releases on your UDMP now? Apart from your BT-TV issues have you come across any other problems in your setup? I’ve only used USGs with my customer installs to date, but have a UDMP at home.
TBH, once the UXG-Pro reaches general release in the UK I’ll be moving to that. If I’d paid more attention to the specs I probably would not have bought the UDMP, but I naively expected the built-in switch to be POE+ rather non-POE, either to power cameras or APs. It was only after purchase that I realised my mistake, but by then decided to keep it and add a separate switch.
My home setup now includes my wall mount rack with UDMP, 48 port non-poe Pro switch and US-8-150W alongside all my patch panels, 24 port non-poe Pro switch in the adjacent floor AV rack (with UDMP and pro switches all connected via 10G SFP+ connections), a US-16-150W in my detached garage rack with another patch panel, a US-8-60W in the shed, and a few more 8-ports in a couple of other locations too where a local POE switch is useful.
I’ve currently got 7 unifi APs (in-wall-HDs, AC-Lites and AC-Ms, with a couple more APs to roll out in due course).
I have to say it has been nice and stable, and the limitations in UDMP features and bugs have not caused me any major issues so far...

As I don’t have a homelab for networking (I do for Ajax) I don’t run Beta firmware on my Network. In fact I seldom upgrade until the Ubnt community have stopped bitching about it.
Your network sounds huge. I thought mine was big enough with 4APs and 4 switches

Not a massive house (depending on your perspective I suppose), 3-4 bed detached with separate detached double garage with bedroom suite above. I do have everything that can run wired ethernet using wired network in the house, with wifi only for devices that cannot be wired. I also self-built by house around 15 years ago, and all internal walls are solid block, with a concrete beams and block 1st floor too, so 5GHz wifi barely gets beyond the room with the AP, which helps explain why I’m just about to add my 6th internal AP!

Due to covid I’ve never been as busy with network/wifi upgrades for customers, so have grown my Unifi base considerably over the last 9 months. The stock levels/availability of certain products is now becoming an issue though.

I’d be keen to hear about how you got involved with Ajax too at some stage, I did approach them about their approved installer scheme but never got past their basic sales team pointing me at their website...

Mine is on auto update :) Has been since I got it.
First thing I do on all my Unifi installs is turn off auto-update in all areas - both network controller, firmware, and apps - so I control the process and make the decision on which firmware versions to use. Having run into issues with buggy updates or issues during updates I don’t leave these to chance any more.
