Finally i manage to get enough cash in the credit card for the Sony Vpl Hs20  and cant find anywhere to buy it  . To be honest i wanted to buy it from the UK but given the weakness of the euro against the pound, id save myself hundreds by purchasing else where.
So here i am, pricejapan is gone down as of 20:23, bhphoto wont have them for 2 weeks and some other sites i can across through yahoo products sound dodgy on the phone and wont have it until 4 weeks time.
    Argggggghhhhh:mad:
    Any other ideas folks

Hs10, Robert whyte, £1200, in stock, good servise.
Spend the extra on a dvdplayer or a Shed loads of dvd's.
    That what i did.
    Well chuffed.
IMO the there is no way that the hs20 is worth £900-1000 more than a hs10.
    Absolute bargin.
    Unless you want hdmi,
But the hs10 does have dvi.

Thanks for that, but unfortunately the exchange rate would kill me. Appreciate the offer though.

Yeah no bothers. Final price to the door with shipping back insurance was $3152 and at Paypals exchange rate (1.22) €2583. Seems to be a good deal alright. I got a price from a supplier in Ireland and they were looking for nearly €4000.

I cant wait for it to arrive, really excited. You can see the daily updates (sad i know, but what the heck) on my www button.

    Hi Vic

Does this price (€2583) include the VAT? When I bought my HS10 from pricejapan last Feb. DHL insisted on my paying the VAT before they would conclude the delivery. I also saw the HS20 for a little less than €4000 in Ireland so that really is a great price.

Hi Comer. No it doesnt include the import VAT. I know some folks dont get caught for it. But we'll see...
