    hi there,

just ordered a panny tx36pl32..........have decided to pay for installation......that way, cos its such a big b^%$%!!! i can make sure it makes it into my house, and onto its stand prior to any tech problems!!

cos its being installed...i will have the opportunity to reject the tv if it doesnt come up to scratch......as you all seem to know of the problems with these crts...i was wondering whether anyone could give me a top list of faults to look for, and ways of checking the tv while the installer is there...

any help would be great....specific or non specific to the make and model

    thanks

dunno mate, I went for the Toshiba 36ZP46 myself due to the extra connections and more shelves etc, but although it was another £100 more than yours in Currys, I got it for £595 off the web at the time! :)

    Frampton,

Nobody seems to want to answer your original question and I'm afraid I'm not going to either!

Just thought it was worth pointing out that you shouldn't expect too much from the installer(s).

I may be doing them an injustice, but I doubt that a fully qualified technician would be employed on delivery/unpacking.

So you may have difficulty getting them to recognise any faults.

    Good luck. :)
