TX100 lamp counter

    Does the lamp counter in the Hitachi TX100 run slower when in whisper mode?

    No, I'd say from my experience it doesn't, though I'd love to be proved wrong and get more out of my bulb....

    I think whisper mode or not it just counts up to the 2000hr maximum. Still, at least the bulbs are (relatively :rolleyes: ) cheap for a projector.

    Can't say I notice much noise difference with whisper on / off - does it make much difference on your projector?

    Both the brightness and the noise change, but so minutely that I don't see the justification.
