I'm thinking of getting a TX-SR705 mainly because it has a RS232 port, which I would like to use for hooking it up to my home automation system.
Looking at the higher end models (800/900 series), I do not see any specific feature I need (or is there some main thing I might have overlooked, besides Ethernet and more zones, more ports?).
In addition I see that there are various updates in the 500/600 series product line. Does some one know if an update to the TX-SR705 is scheduled? Like a SR706??
