tx-40gx830e to lenovo yoga 920 via usb-c hdmi

Hi,

Might be a silly question, but when I tried to connect my laptop to the tv, the picture is there, but the sound comes from the laptop.
Is there a way to change the audio output so it would be the TV speakers?
The cable I use is goobay USB-C HDMI adapter cable (4k 60hz).

On the Laptop settings you will need to let it know to use the TV as the audio output device.

I actually checked everywhere in the audio settings for another audio output, but it only gives the option of the laptop speakers.
Not really sure what might be the problem or do I have to install something else.

Have you tried repowering the Laptop with the adapter and TV connected?

Thank you! I would not even think that such a little detail would affect the audio output option, it worked!
