I just took delivery of a 37LZD85 today. While it seems like a pretty good set, there is something that has struck as being far below acceptable: the way it handles 24fps. With the function enabled judder naturally disappears and motion becomes very fluid, but unfortunately it also introduces some REALLY annoying 'artifacts'. I don't know what to call it, let alone describe it. It's as if moving objects get a sort of "aura" around them. You know when the sun gets really hot you can sometimes see the heat emanating from the asphalt... the aura sort of looks like that. I was watching a bit of "Casino Royale" on BD and in a scene where a plane flies across the screen, the plane (one with propellers) almost had what looked like exhaust heat coming out the back. I'm not talking about motion blur or smearing because frankly, the way this set handles motion in general is outstanding (at least compared to the Toshiba 42Z3030D I had for less than two weeks). Also, if I disable 24fps the auras disappear. I will try to post a couple of pictures in the near future. Other than that, the set's great. The backlighting seems to be very even, no dead pixels, and no buzzing
