    Hi all,
Is it possible to connect 2 vcr's in a setup in series?

My setup now, using scarts is:

SAT > VCR > TV (composite)
SAT > DVD > TV (RGB)

    I was thinking of:

    SAT > VCR1 > VCR2 > TV (composite)
SAT > DVD > TV (RGB)

There is only 1 SAT box in the setup.

I would like to (possibly) do tape to tape recordings.
Would this setup allow recording on one VCR whilst playing back the other VCR?

I know I should be going down the digital route but I am being cautious about the format war and have you seen how cheap VCR's are at the momoent.

    Thanks

    Neil

Absolutley yes... you can string as many VCRs as you like... but be sure they have 2 x scart sockets.

Yes once done you can record Vcr to Vcr... play on one and just select the appropriate AV source on the other and record.
