    Can it be done?

Splitting the signal coming down from the aerial to two FV boxes that is.

I want one dedicated to the Tivo box so it can record whatever it wants to, and a second which we'll use to watch "live".

Thinking about getting the Netgem as a second FV box. Whats the response time like on this set when changing channels, etc? I've got a Nokia 221T already and the menus are a bit slow for my liking, but Tivo won't care :)

Also the RF out socket on FV boxes, are they bandpass filtered so they do not carry the freeview signal, i.e could I daisychain two FV boxes together via their RF sockets and both will work?

You can use the RF out socket to link two boxes together as this is what i do to allow one box for recording and the other for watching with both of them working fine.

I'm also looking for a Netgem, the BT shop have them for £64.50.

Have a look at my thread just below now.
