two boxes one card

    upgraded to sky plus at weekend,sky sent out new card but when engineer came out he just paired the two cards up & took new card away. so i currently have old card in old box (multi room) & no card in sky plus box. should i have tried to keep new card ? why did he take new card away?

    No he shouldnt.Ring sky or whoever you got it installed with and tell them to return the new card as its your property.

    Is the card not the property of sky? Anyway that is regardless just phone up sky.

    deff ring sky i had just had sky+ fitted.

    whrn you get card sky have to activate it, took about 4 phone calls before i got it all working.
    couldnt record pause eect untill they set it all up properly
    the engineers have gone hill, they now just stick box in and plug nto tv nothing else, I had to cable up to amp ect myself
    wont be long before they chuck box onto drive way as they drive past
