It's apparently £15 in HMV although I couldn't find it when I looked at Fopp.

My local HMV has it at this price as part of their clearance sale. They have a few boxes and racks with a mix of DVDs and blus scattered around the store. I bought it a matter of days before at £20 from Zoom.

I took a quick photo earlier in HMV. It hasn't come out very well but you can see the 14 of the £14.99 price tag. Top shelf.

Yep there's a few bargains to be had. They've just got a boat load of vinyl in. I think the clearance sale is to make way for it.

I went looking for bargains just after xmas and would have snapped TOS up at that price but at the time they wanted £49.99 and I knew it was cheaper from Zoom so left it.

Krish have you actually bought it now? If so I'd be interested to know what you make of it. I have to confess we're struggling with it.

The set so far has presented an option of watching it as 2 episodes or those combined in a tv movie format. We watched the movie format on disc one. When it came to disc two we chose to watch episode 3 rather than the tv movie version including the fourth episode. The first "movie" just didn't work. Little or no humour so far. Unfortunately we're finding it rather dull. That's something you certainly couldn't say about the original series.

I found this latest series dreadful. Failed on just about every level for me. And I'm a huge fan of the original series and FWWM.

Obviously if you've not seen it all yet, I can't go into too much detail.

Some loved it though, so there will be others who refute my claim!

I agree with this and I'm another Lynch fanatic.

There are parts of the series that are more silly than surreal and I felt it drags a little in places.

But it really feels like Lynch unchained, Lynch doing what he wants to do regardless of what others may think.

Think of it as not so much of a story as an 'experience' ...

I found it very funny in places. Especially anything to do with Dougieeeeee!

And its certainly original. Check out episode 8....

I presume you didn't like Fire Walk With Me either? Or Lynch's other stuff? I have noticed that people who don't like the new series are usually big fans of the old series but not necessarily the rest of Lynch's work.

I do like Lynch's films but not all of them. I didn't take to FWWM and I still haven't watched my blu from the previous TP set. I'd love to see DVD release for his On The Air series though.

I am an exception to that rule. I'm a fan of just about all of Lynch's work, except this late series of Twin Peaks.

I think had he done it 10 years ago, it may have fared better. I feel exactly the same way about the X-Files revival. Was absolutely dreadful. And 10 years too late as well.

Ill agree on the X-Files revival - that was cringeworthy.

We've got to the end of the second disc but it's been extremely hard work. It's not just the style. It's quite upsetting seeing how old many of them look and very ill too in some cases. I'd dive into it straight away if I were you. At least you'd have the original series to cheer you up afterwards in case you also dislike it.

We're watching the first season of Preacher which has clearly used TP as one of it's inspirations. A lot of joy to be had here. We're enjoying it on a similar level to the original Peaks.

I thought it was a masterpiece. Loved everything about it.

I'll have to pick this up so I can preserve my limited edition, like I did with the Entire Mystery set.

I think my local store has sold out of it but others may still have it at that price.

Zoom have priced this at £18 and £20 as well as other high prices before it hit £17.37; more than likely it will continue to yo-yo and break new lows before too long.
