If people could post any TVs or streamers that are *confirmed*to support VP9 Profile 2 please post them here. Note that I dont want to hear about possinle future updates on existing products or unreleased product (already read too much speculation literacy)

As far as I know the only device that can play all 3 HDR formats (HDR10, Dolby Vision, VP9 profile 2) is Google Chromecast Ultra BUT this does not make me happy because I dont see Chromecast as reliable solution : I want a single interface/device to play Netflix, Amazon and YouTube at their maximum quality. So far my impression is that this is impossible because Amazon Videon does not work with Chromecast (screencasting is more of a joke, not a real solution).

VP9 profile 2 (aka VP9 10bit) is just a video format it's not a form of HDR. Youtube itself seems to have a preference for the hybrid log gamma type of HDR but claims it can transcode that into other HDR formats, that would explain why devices with no HLG support get HDR output via a Chromecast Ultra.

    LG OLED G7 & G6 support VP9 P2 & HLG.

Select Samsung 2016 models support VP9 P2 via firmware update, KS8000 series for sure possibly the other models in KS line 7000/9000. Output is in HDR10 not HLG I think.

Thats all I know at the moment, may have to wait for 2017/2018 newer products with VP9 P2 support.

    Android TV devices
    Nvidia Shield - doesn't support VP9 P2, it supports Google Play store 4K content (VP9 8bit) but not Youtube 4K HDR (VP9 10bit).
Xiaomi Mi Box - Yes does support VP9 P2 but HDR output reported broken, probably a software issue.

Do the new 2017 OLEDs from LG support it?

On LG Uk site, the W7, G7, E7, B7, C7 all list VP9 & HLG support. On LG Canada they specifically say at least on the W7 that it is VP9 10bit.

Thanks! We will receive our B7 on Saturday, as a replacement for our faulty B6, so I'll be eagerly testing and will report back.

From a limited source (HDPanels) I'm reading that the Panasonic OLED TH-EZ series are "supposed" to support VP9 Profile 2, however in practice my new TH-EZ950 doesn't seem to, only correctly showing VP9 material... I'm trying to dig into it and find out why.
Have an EZ1000 at work I'm hoping to get net-enabled so I can test it also.
