I have the latest software updated automatically. Upon further footering I am pretty sure the HDMI port is dodgy so I will get a scart-HDMI cable and try that as the scart port still works fine.I assume your box worked with your previous TV.
Please tell us what your software update state is; the last Upgrade State is:
I suggest a factory reset to ensure your box is in a state from which any advice can be supplied. (It does not delete any previous recordings.)
