TVDrive updating

There I was, happily watching Sky sports, when all of a sudden the picture goes black.
HDMI goes off and Scart kicks in. A scart screen tells me it's updating.
God it's slow (been over 10 mins now).
I wonder what we're getting new?
Some flaming HD would be nice

Somethings wrong, it has to be.
Who on earth does an update during a Prem plus game?
Theres no way I'm rebooting.

My wife will go absolutely NUTS if this is not fixed in time for Strictly Come Dancing and X-Factor. Been updating for an hour now

Telewest helpline states its an update and its planned, so i guess its a waiting game, although how on earth an update can take over an hour i don't have a clue, it must be more to do with telewests end rather than the boxes themselves.

It's not an update, something has gone wrong.
It's on TW status page.
This is major, they're saying up to 4 hours.
I reckon we're looking at a lot longer

Good job I know where to get a stream for the Villa game or I'd be doing my nut.
Was thinking of ordering the game too.
Some bloke was watching the Charlton game and TW offered them a £1 refund. He says he told them to stick it up their arsenal :rotfl:

If he was a Charlton supporter then he'd have been thanking Telewest

I just thought, I could get it on my normal box upstairs (which seems fine).
Hmmm, crap free pic or £8 and a nice fat PJ pic?
Decisions, decisions.

Im trying to think why it's only affecting HD
