    Hi,
I have just got a Marantz SR4200. I am fine with the Digital connections but my TV to Amp connection has me stumped. The TV has an onboard 5.1 decoder and so has audio outs for FR, FL, RR, RL, C and Sub. However, there are only L and R inputs for the TV on the amp. Do I just hook up from FL and FR to L and R and if so, do I lose anything?

Hope this makes sense - I may be missing something obvious.

    Thanks.
    Andy

    Hi

Are they the only outputs from the TV?? If so just connect the FL & FR to the relevant Left & Right inputs of the amp.

You may have to change a setting in the TV menus as well with regards to sound output, so doublecheck that.

Thanks Jase. I have just doublechecked and they are the only audio outputs from the TV.
