    Hello all,

I am looking for a good quality TV signal amplifier & distribution unit. I want to feed the signal from the aerial into this and then distribute the ampified signal to appx 10 sockets.

I will mainly use the amplified signal to drive Freeview STB's.

I would be very grateful if anyone out there can recommend a high quality, low noise amplifier/distributor that will not do significant damage to the Freeview signal. If necessary, I can provide a good quality, low-noise mains feed.

    Thanks

    TS

I installed a LabGear 4-way amplifier/distributor box in my loft last year. It works a treat. I used almost all of a 100m coax reel running cables to aerial outlet sockets. Works fine with my freeview box.

Have a look at their web-site, they have loads of these sort of products. http://www.labgear.co.uk

I use an Antiference 6 way distribution amplifier in the loft in a DTT fringe area with good results. Available from Maplins.

    See http://www.antiference.co.uk/

brendak: televes or antiference products are both adequate for your needs mate as long as youve got a reasonable signal coming in the first place, available from most sat aerial distributors
