TV settings with HD material

Does anyone use different TV settings with HD material (whether HD-DVD or Blu Ray) than they do with DVD or normal TV?

I have upped the contrast and colour levels when I play HD-DVDs.

Perfectly normal. Ideally any display should be calibrated for each source, whether it be Hi Def or otherwise :)

I know someone had their set-up calibrated by Gordon from Convergence (very highly rated calibration guy).

He had an E1, and Gordon said the calibration for both SD DVDs and HD DVDs from that Toshiba were identical.

My own experiments reveal the same results.

So, if you're playing both SD and high def from this player, there's no need to have 2 settings.
