TV power cable in drywall

    Sorry in advance as this will have been spoken/wrote about before.

    Can you install a TV power cable behind a plasterboard (drywall stud partition) without breaking any laws etc.

    I have read about a "power outlet" but most of the clips and reviews are anything other than UK stuff.

    Are there any kits etc, that I could possible buy?

    Any advice would be very helpful :thumbsup:

    I would be careful, the softer plastic in mains leads doesn't have the same service life as proper mains wiring.
    This is due to the pasticisers used so it would be worth seeing if you could fit a double socket.
