    Hi
Over the last few days the "TV" page has disappeared from the Smart Hub on my Samsung TV.
I still have the Apps, Media and Movie page, but the usual home page of Suggested TV has disappeared!?!

I've reset the Hub, no change.

    Any ideas anyone?

    TV is a UE55HU7500

    Thanks

Exactly same problem here. Same 2 pages missing from the smart hub since yesterday. My tv is UE55HU8200. Has anyone found a fix for this yet?

I was experiencing this on my f6400 but I've just checked right now and it appears to be back to normal, minus their VOD service which they ended on the 1st.

There was an announcement last month to say it was going - see the image. That was on my UE48H6400

Ah I never saw that. Mmmm interesting - must be a licensing issue (for TV) ....or that no one used it (VOD)!
I'm going back to a Freesat box - Smart Hub is miles away from where it needs to be. Disappointed to be honest. Bring back Windows Media Center!

I saw the recurring alert but did not realise the implications, namely that I would loose 2 panels from my Smart Hub, one of which is the TV page which was effectively my user interface. For the record I have the UE55H6400 which I purchased in December 2015! Current software version is 2740.

The image above implies that we will be seeing a replacement of sorts. Anyone have any ideas as to what we might expect. I have to say that right now I'm not too chuffed. I've only had the set ~6 months and did not expect to have support pulled so soon. Being left with 3 panels (Games, Samsung Apps, Multimedia) is not what I bought into (literally) when I purchased the set. Had it been towards end of life fair enough, but I don't anticipate changing my set for at least 5 years and would feel very hard done by if I had to live with it. When I also consider that the Smart Hub TV page was the main stay of all the advertising (glossy mags, TV adverts etc.) for these TV's I feel somewhat conned.

    From Samsung support......

"I can confirm that from the 1st July on tv and the movies and tv shows have ended. To notify customers of the change, a message was displayed across the top of the tv screen 4 minutes after powering on.

However if the tv is not connected to the internet or push notifications has been turned off, you would not have seen the message.

This change has been made to simplify the operation of the tv and allow the possibility of future services to be added.

I am sorry for any inconvenience that has been caused."

Something else I've noticed since the TV page went missing. If you use voice control for a TV channel, it says the channel is missing. Anyone else noticed this?

It's not looking like they are replacing it with anything anytime soon.
Have given up on the whole "Smart" Hub and bought a Humax HDR-1100S at the weekend.
Back to a good UI and reliable recordings.
Feel a little conned by Samsung, if I'd have paid full whack for the TV it would have gone back with bells on!

I bought a 65" 4k Samsung last November and used the On TV panel extensively. It would seem to be a basic requirement of a Smart TV that you can continue to watch a programme but check what else is on. After only 7 months with On TV, the Smart Hub lost most of its functionality on 1st July. I did pay full whack, spending just short of £2k for this TV and it no longer performs as described in the manual. With the warranty about to expire, I have advised Samsung that it is not fit for purpose.
