TV over lan

    Does anyone know if it's possible to stream TV over a network (reasonably cheaply) ? I've a PC upstairs that has Sky in via a PB100 TV card, and want to watch the picture on a PC downstairs - is there any way of doing this without running an RF lead to the downstairs PC and installing a TV card in it (i.e. same as upstairs) ?
    Or am I better off just buying a TV sender and another TV card (total cost about £100 but unsure what picture quality would be like).

    The right capture software should do the trick, but I haven't looked into this area. I use a nebula digitv card and it has a built in capability to do this, using point to point or broadcast that works just fine over a 100Mb LAN.

    have you looked at www.kat5.tv they seem to be doing what you want.
