Do you mean install or put outside for a sunny day?

If you want to install a TV outside you should be more worried out water-proofing it!!

If you just want to take it out for a day then you should put it in the shade and make sure it's secure. Wobbly stool not a good idea! Watch out for cables too.

Yes, put it outside on a sunny day........ we put it in the shade, but the glare is terrible, would a box around it help?

You could make a hood for it, but that would narrow the viewing angle quite alot.

Other than that I can't think of anything else that would help much.
Taking a TV outside kind of defeats the idea of reducing ambient light.

Only other thing to do if you're really determined would be to turn up brightness.
